Review: St Jerome’s Laneway Festival
Yet another St Jerome’s Laneway Festival has been and gone. The big fiesta down at Perth Cultural Centre in Northbridge brought along its usual friendly atmosphere, polite crowd and a splendourific mix of exciting acts. Empire of Perth went down to check out the vibe, chat to people, snap some shots and enjoy the oh-so-anticipated acts.
Path to Laneway finalists announced
Proudly supporting local WA talent, our Path To Laneway competition gives one talented local unsigned artist the chance to open Perth’s Laneway Festival in February 2012.
After listening to more than fifty entries, they’ve run it down to three finalists for this year’s competition. Battling it out will be:
Patient Little Sister
Shy Panther
Cow Parade Cow
The winner will be determined in a live final judged by a panel of industry experts this Thursday 15th December at The Bird, William St, Northbridge. Entry is free and just by coming along and showing your support for local bands you could win a double pass to Laneway 2012. Doors open at 8pm with the first band set to kick off at 8:30pm.
