Australia is set to be treated to it’s favourite brothers Finn tracks by Sarah Blasko, Sally Seltmann, Clare Bowditch, Holly Throsby, Lior, Paul Dempsey and Alexander Gow from Oh Mercy, a lineup that is said to make a truly special and unique show. The concept follows EMI’s brothers Finn tribute albums which had great success – The natural next step some would say.

The show will be arriving in Perth on November 12th at the Fremantle Arts Centre.

You may recognise the name, maybe not, Emeli Sandé is most recently known for her amazing vocals on Wiley’s track “Never be your woman”. She’s going solo for this one though, her latest track – Heaven is due for official release on the US charts on August 14th. We’re liking this one really just because it’s easy! It’s got this fresh appeal to it that’s defining it against the music we’ve been hearing lately. What do you think?

nocturnal Its all about NocturnalThis is it peoples! By far the deepest, darkest (And most bloody freezing) night of winter! We hope you managed to survive the night of crispy 3 degree weather – Because tonight it’s time for the Nocturnal Ball!

As i’m sure so many of you have, there are always so many great memories to have (If you can remember them at all) – With by far the biggest party on Perth’s calendar year. Set to take off at Metro City thanks to the boys and girls at WANA and BOOMTICK! We hope to see you there, and in truly good form, because if you can’t let your hair down at Nocturnal when can you.

For those still sitting on the fence, or who need the details (Because you’ve been living under a rock) you can check out all the details, ticket info etc etc right here on EOP!

Now for all of you who have your tickets and are pumped and ready to go, The Deen is as every year holding the unofficial Predrinks at their fine establishment thanks to their Industry night which i’m sure you’ve all enjoyed from one time to another, so why not kick off your night a little early!

And remember -
Tip your bartenders! Those guys have to work tonight so you can all play so be sure to show them lots of love!

This is a great one to start your Monday to, with Tinie Tempah & Wiz Khalifa teaming up to bring us “Till I’m Gone”, a track that’s been doing wonders on the charts. Only released a couple of days ago and it’s already been watched over 2 million times, i think that answers the question of if people like it or not!

So what does Sunday sound like for us? DJ Fresh’s new single ‘Louder’ has topped the Shazam chart for an incredible 8 WEEKS, it’s A-list on Radio 1 and the video is about to smash 1million YouTube views.. This song is insane!

It almost felt like it was meant for the rain to stop two hours prior to the gig so everyone could come to Metro City safe. Either way, this night Metro showed it self off from its best side with the warm tunes from Strange Talk and electro beats from Sydney based Art Vs. Science. Read more>

make the face Make a face and win tickets! The most award-winning promoter in Perth, Boomtick, has unleashed their latest club night beast, Make the Face.

Jive Records have weighed in on Brit’s latest track “I wanna go” which we had up earlier in the week, and we have to say we’re a little bit impressed.

Four new mixes of the track have been released and it’s good to see that there was some potential out of this track. Check em out below, let us know what you think about it.

I wanna go is currently #23 on the Aussie charts.

So we all know that our friends at Limelite are bringing us The Potbelleez on the 29th of July, and this is just a little taster of what’s to come.

We’ve been promised something we’ve never seen, and after having a great time with The Potbelleez at The Deen for their 125th birthday party (The club not the group!) we know that they are going to take their show, turn it on it’s head, and make it freaking massive!

We can’t wait for this one guys, hope you can’t either!

Released only a couple of days ago in the US he’s pretty much an unknown here in Oz but we thought you could do with some new tunes today to get you all in a little bit of a party mood for Friday night! It’s been one hell of a long week and it’s going to be an even longer weekend thanks to Karma, Limelite, and of course, the Nocturnal Ball!
